How to Get Experience Fast in Pokemon Let’s Go

If you want to do Free Battles in Pokemon Let’s Go, you’re going to need EXP to get to level 100. If you want to beat all the Master Trainers, you’re going to need to get lots of experience. This guide will show you the best way to get experience in Pokemon Let’s Go.

Actually Getting Experience Fast:

First, you’ll need to have beaten the game. We will need to go to Cerulean Cave which is only accessible after you’ve beaten the Champion. You’ll need to get around 100 Ultra Balls and 100 Poke Balls as we’re going to be chaining Chansey to get experience fast!

First, you’ll need to go to the second floor of Cerulean Cave, the only place you can find Chansey in Cerulean Cave. Once you go to the second floor, you’ll obviously need to find a Chansey!

When you find a Chansey, you’ll need to catch it to make your Catch Combo. If you don’t know what a catch combo is, it is a combo you get from catching the same Pokemon multiple times in a row. If you want to learn more about it, you can go here.

When you’re catching try to get an Excellent on your first try, when you get an Excellent you get an experience bonus leading you to get experience faster (also Nice and Great but less). You also get an experience bonus for doing two player. If possible, you can try to use two Joy-Cons and play multiplayer by yourself. If you throw the balls at the same time, you’ll get a Synchronized Bonus! When you’re using a synchronized throw, you should use Ultra Balls in one hand and Poke Balls in the other because it only takes the catch rate of the best one which can save you a lot of money!

The other big ways to earn EXP with Chansey are Size Bonus and Technique Bonus (Not shown). Size Bonus means if it is bigger or smaller than average it’ll give you bonus points. Technique is based on how you throwthe ball.

As you can probably tell, the way you get a Combo Bonus is by getting a chain. The Combo Bonus should increase the bigger your chain is.

That’s how you get experience fast in Pokemon Let’s Go!
